Ellie Schertz

Ellie grew up in Goshen, Indiana, and is a 2015 graduate of Goshen College where she studied environmental science. Her first memories of Merry Lea involved coming to the Enchanted Forest public program as a child. As a college student, she participated in bird banding research and worked with the woody perennial polyculture project while living at Merry Lea’s Rieth Village. Ellie began her role as the assistant farm manager in March 2017.
