Let’s rock! Join us for Tales & Trails as we read What Can you Do with a Rock by Pat Zietlow. Explore the many ways we can examine and play with rocks in Merry Lea’s gravel pit or at home. Don’t forget to wear weather appropriate clothing for a hike and outdoor play, including sturdy shoes for walking on rocky ground.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering. By registering for this program you are signing up for the Tales and Trails monthly email list, which shares details like upcoming program location and more!
