Whooo? Who is getting prepared to nest soon? Come find out as we read Owl Moon by Jane Yolen. We’ll see some taxidermy owl mounts, touch owl feathers, search outdoors for places great horned owls might nest and learn to call like owls.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering. By registering for this program you are signing up for the Tales and Trails monthly email list, which shares details like upcoming program location and more!
