Let’s rock! Join us for Tales & Trails as we read A Rock Is Lively by Dianna Hutts Aston. Together, we’ll explore the many ways rocks can be examined, discovered and played with as we venture into Merry Lea’s gravel pit. Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing for hiking and outdoor play, including sturdy shoes for walking on rocky ground.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
