About this event
This month we are hiking out to a special geologic location at Merry Lea. We will find ancient stones and explore their many shapes, sizes and textures. We will be reading A Stone Sat Still by Brendan Wenzel and observing how time shaped a stone.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
