Let’s explore what is happening in the education garden as we read Plant the Tiny Seed by Christie Matheson. We will also find different stages of plants from seedling to flower and discover if worms and pollinator insects are helping out.
Come prepared to be outside for the whole program time. A jacket, boots, and water bottle are recommended.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
