Undergraduate Research

The large range of ecosystem diversity at Merry Lea makes it an excellent location for a wide variety of field studies.   There are many opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in field research at Merry Lea.  These include participation in the Maple Scholars summer research program, summer field assistants in the MAPS bird banding research project, Environmental Science Junior and Senior projects work, Sustainability Semester in Residence projects, as well as a range of courses that use Merry Lea as a field station for laboratory work.
