Scheduling Policies

When can I schedule?
Merry Lea field trips are divided into seasons: Spring or Sugar Bush, Fall, Summer and Winter.  Because Spring and Fall schedules are quickly filled, no school can sign up for these programs prior to a set opening day of scheduling.  Field trips are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis after the opening dates.  To schedule a field trip you may call or fill out an online registration form after the appropriate opening date. 

When does open regestration begin?

• Spring programs and Sugar Bush - September 1
• Fall programs and Farmcraft - April 1
• Winter or summer programs - anytime

How do I register?
On the opening days of registration periods, you may call or fill out our online registration form before Merry Lea’s office is open. You may leave a voice mail message with the information indicated below. We will process the requests in the order in which they arrive. After you have registered, we will contact you to confirm the dates.

We cannot schedule rain dates for programs, due to the demand for our programs. If your program needs to be cancelled due to dangerous or inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule you program.
